Why is optimising PDF files even important?

The simple answer is that many applications create crummy PDF files that don’t fit well into production requirements.

This becomes obvious if your printers are not running at rated speed or jobs don’t even process because they error out.

Other times the quality of the PDF doesn’t meet expectations or they are so large that they bog down your production print and e-delivery processes.
